Sorry for lack of updates, but there were no news or new photos of Natalie in the past few days. Finally, there is first teaser trailer for New York, I love you ! It looks really great and I’m looking forward to see the movie.

Actress Natalie Portman has already showcased her talents as a gangsta rapper on Saturday Night Live, and a brainiac, graduating from Harvard with a degree in psychology. So what’s next on her to-do list? Directing.
Portman will make her directorial debut when her short film Eve opens at the Venice International Film Festival in its short-film sidebar on Sept. 1.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Portman’s 17-minute film, which stars veteran actors Lauren Bacall and Ben Gazzara, is being described by festival organizers as “a civilized comedy.”

The movie isn’t the actress’s first brush with short films or with film festivals. Last year, Portman, 27, performed her first nude scene in the Hotel Chevalier, a short film that was a prequel to The Darjeeling Limited, and this past May she served as the youngest jury member at the Cannes International Film Festival.

Portman, who is scheduled to attend the Venice festival with her film, won’t have to worry about the jury this time out: Eve will be screening in an out-of-competition slot.

I added three LQ photos from old - new set of paparazzi photos. These candids are from 5th June of this year and show Natalie shopping at Whole Foods together with Devendra. She looks absolutely great, hope that we will have a better quality of these photos soon.

Finally we have some pretty new candids. I added 6 new paparazzi photos of Natalie. She was shopping in Malibu on Monday, 11th August. She looks absolutely gorgeous.

Natalie Portman would like to ditch her three-bedroom, three-bath apartment in Richard Meier’s West Village glass tower at 165 Charles Street, the Post reported this morning.
Ms. Portman, who bought the 2,500-square-foot place in 2005 for $5.7 million, has placed the apartment on the market for $6.55 million. The listing went to Andy Fink and Nancy Teague at the Corcoran Group.
Mr. Meier’s West Side buildings, which appear entirely see-through from the outside, have nonetheless drawn privacy-seeking celebrities like Heather Graham, who just bought a place in the Meier-designed 173 Perry Street. Martha Stewart’s daughter Alexis and Mr. Meier’s own daughter Ana both reside at 165 Charles.
Lately, the demure Ms. Portman has been spending quite a bit of time in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, long-haired Venezuelan-American folk singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart. Perhaps the pair will be seeking out something a bit less shiny.

Finally we have some new candids. Natalie browses a magazine at the Arclight Cinema in Hollywood, California. When her friend arrived the two went to see the latest Batman movie - The Dark Knight. After the movie her friend smoked a cigarette before they left separately. It seems that Natalie quited smoking. That sounds great !
